Summit Insurance commenced operations in Prince George, BC in 1968 under the name MacCaulay Nicols Maitland who
purchased the firm of J.T.O'Bryan. Tomenson Saunders & Whitehead Ltd. acquired J.T.O'Bryan and evolved into Tomenson
Inc. who became Sedgwick James and then Sedgwick. In 1999 Marsh McLellan Companies acquired Sedgwick and on January
01, 2000 Al Delwo and Geoff Hughes formed a partnership and purchased the office from Marsh Canada.
Al Delwo is a designated Canadian Certified Insurance Broker with 40 years insurance experience. Geoff Hughes has a combined insurance experience of 38 years in all phases of insurance.
Summit's complement of staff averages in excess of 10 years experience and service to both individuals and businesses on their insurance needs.
Summit has the expertise and capacity of arranging and placing all types of property/casualty insurance and is highly specialized in the woods and oil/gas, construction, bonding and trucking industries. We are also proud of our personal lines staff and the expertise they offer to all homeowners/tenants on their personal insurance needs.
